Our Story
Litrivis CPA was founded on a simple observation: growing businesses need more than year-end compliance they need a financial partner who understands their industry, anticipates problems before they surface, and brings strategic thinking to the table year-round.
That’s the gap we built Litrivis to fill. We bring the rigor of traditional CPA expertise - accounting, tax, and compliance - together with the forward-looking discipline of strategic finance, including FP&A, revenue recognition, cash flow modeling, and financial planning. John Litrivis, CPA
Managing Director & Founder
John founded Litrivis CPA to give growing companies the kind of financial partner most only get after they've scaled one who sits inside the business, not outside it. Before starting the firm, he spent nearly a decade at Argyle Executive Forum, rising from Head of Finance to CFO/COO Consultant, where he led two global acquisitions totaling $50M, managed a $100M global budget, and rebuilt the company's entire financial infrastructure migrating it to NetSuite and cutting the monthly close cycle from 12 days to 5. Earlier in his career, he ran finance for a global retail and wholesale operation and held accounting roles at Canon USA. John is a licensed CPA in New York State and holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Hofstra University's Frank G. Zarb School of Business. His approach is hands-on: building the systems, models, and KPI tracking that let leadership teams make decisions with real data instead of guesswork.
David Vivanco
CFO & Co-Founder
David brings more than 25 years of executive finance and accounting experience helping founder-led, private equity-backed, and growth-stage companies strengthen financial performance and scale with confidence. As a former Chief Financial Officer for Redpeak (U.S. & Taiwan) and Infrared (U.S. & U.K.) at Sid Lee, he has led strategic planning, financial reporting, FP&A, cash flow management, operational improvements, and executive decision support while partnering closely with CEOs, boards, and investors. He has been the head of finance and accounting for multiple Omnicom agencies across the U.S. His career also includes senior audit roles at Ernst & Young and CohnReznick, providing a strong technical accounting and audit foundation that complements his strategic finance expertise. David holds a BBA in Accounting and Marketing from Hofstra University. Clients rely on him as a hands-on, execution-focused CFO who brings financial clarity, strengthens operations, and helps organizations make informed decisions that drive sustainable growth.
